@cigamit, General has quietly become two things: people asking how to run Ascender, and write-ups of what individual features do. I have added a fair few of the second kind lately, so this is partly my own doing, and the result is that a question posted today slides down the list behind them.
The request
Could we have a Features section in the forum, and move the feature threads out of General into it?
Why split them
Someone arriving to ask a question and someone arriving to find out what Ascender actually does are after different things, and General is currently the answer to both.
What would move
These are the threads I would move, all of them write-ups of a shipped feature rather than discussions:
From AWX to Ascender needs to move as well, as the index of the section. It is a list of what the fork adds rather than a write-up of one feature, so it belongs at the front of Features rather than in General.
What stays in General
What stays behind is what General is for: questions, the migration threads, and anything still being argued about.
